Praise God Today

What is your need today?  Our God has everyone of those needs already covered.  
He is waiting for us to ask.  His words tell us that he knows what we need even 
before we ask but we have a responsibility in our own needs.  When you were a 
child your parents knew  what you needed but you told them if you were tired, 
hungry or sick.  Our Heavenly Father expects the same.  Prayer,  conversation
between you and God is necessary.    Our God is a great a wondrous God who 
wants good things for His children.

Whatever your need today...  Healing in your body, mind or soul.  God is waiting! 

"Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" ( Matthew 7:9-11 )                                                            

Jesus The Son Of God

It is one week until Good Friday.  The anniversary of the crucifixion of Our Lord.

Even knowing that this was preordained by God so that we all would have the

blood sacrifice that God knew we needed...  the thought of what Jesus went 

through for you and me, breaks my heart.  Yet God loved us so much that he 

gave His only Son so that we would be forgiven of our sins, our weaknesses, 

our salvation was bought with the price of God's son.  

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Just ponder on how much God loves you today!  and if he loved us so much
that he gave his only son for us...  why would he bypass the things we think are
insignificant that we put before Him in prayer.

Sweet Peace

It seems sometimes that it is next to impossible to find "Peace" in daily
living.  With the cost of living being so outrageous and prices going up
everyday,  there is always something we are all concerned about.  Then 
there are other things in our lives that bring us worry...  our children, our
marriages, our friends and our jobs.  By the time a day is over the mental
exhaustion is overwhelming.  I have come to a point that I can only depend
upon God for the "Peace" I need at the end of the day and many times 
during the day.    

I ponder on a scripture, I say a silent prayer or I just plain pray out loud if
I can't seem to get hold of the things that are determined to control my 
mental well being.  The chaos is not what God desires for us.  Peace and 
love is what He wants for each one of us.  His word confirms that many 
times.

        2 Timothy 1:6 

        For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of 

        love, and of a sound mind.

 
The answers all lie in His word!  I have found no greater solution then to go
to God's word and prayer to bring peace into my life.  I hope the same for you!

May the peace of God surround each one of those who read this little entry

Rejoice In The Lord

This morning it is more then evident to me that God is my reason for being and
that I need him to be there in every way.  I can never be anything without Him.  I
know that everyone who may read this needs him too!  Rejoice is the only word
that comes to my mind.  For God is worthy of all Praise!  

When I started this Blog I was not quite sure it was the right thing to do but as 
of yesterday I know it was.  I had a horrible day!  Does that sound strange?  It
shouldn't...  Almost inevitably when you are doing something right for God the
enemy seeks to destroy it.  It is written in the Word of God to Rejoice in your 
trials: 
  
James 1:2 
When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

So today I am happy knowing that I am doing the right thing for God in sharing 
what I have learned of Him with whoever may read this.  I rejoice in the
knowledge that I have touched the hem of His garment and I am excited in the
waiting for His blessings.  

I pray that all may have a blessed day in the Lord!  

God Our Everything

What does this scripture mean to you?   To me it means exactly what it says.  
There is no situation that God can't handle.  His word is endless.  Poverty, 
sickness, depression, just to name a few.  God is able in all ways for you.  He 
is your personal bodyguard.  His word is your instruction manual.  Put 
everything in your life before God in prayer and trust him.  Most importantly,  
"Let God into your life."   

Remember the enemy would have you to believe that all is lost and that you
have no means of escape.  With God all things are possible.

Friendship

Friendship is a wonderful thing.  If you have it your life is blessed.  A good example is when you can bypass differences and still be there for one another.  
A good example was shown to me by my daughter this weekend.  She has been divorced for over 6 years, irreconcilable difference, yet she has remained fast friends with her ex-mother in law.  She went to great lengths to throw a surprise Birthday Party for her which included school friends that her ex-mother in law had not seen for years.  She created a wonderful surprise for someone that had become a good friend over the years.  Joy and lots of laughter, hugs and endearments have a positive effect on lives.  To me this is a wonderful example of God' s love for us.  No matter what we have done he welcomes us with open arms.  Today ponder on that and bask in the knowledge that you have a friend in Jesus!

God Is Faithful Always

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man;

and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted

beyond what you are able,

but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also,

so that you will be able to endure it.

                                                   Corinthians 10:13

We Need The Love Of God

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God;
and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

By this the love of god was manifested in us, that God has sent
His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.

Beloved, if God loved us, we also ought to love one another.

No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another,
God abides in us, and His love is perfected.

Why Am I Here

It is taught to us all that we each have a ministry for God.  Perhaps this is mine.  My desire is to help others through the awesome word of God.  Daily words for growth, strength, peace, love and so much more.  Lovely Inspirational Graphic creations to present God's word.  Ministry messages and videos to feed the hungry soul.  Prayer for those in need and personal reflection and testimony in word and praise.  Bless God that there is a place to share!
